Research

In November 2018, I joined the Jacobs lab as a Phd candidate to study which forces drive KRAB-ZNF evolution against transposable elements. Specially, my project explores whether KRAB-ZNFs limit recombination between TEs and may therfore be involved in the control of genomic stability.
